We know that new experiences can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming, especially for young children. At Ignite, our priority is to make you feel at ease by showing you what we are all about. Scroll down to learn more about your first (and second!) visit at Ignite.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

We are excited to meet you! Please plan to spend about 60 minutes in the office at your first visit. Please fill out your New Practice Member Paperwork before you arrive. They can be filled out digitally or by hand.

01

Preparing For Your Visit

Our new patient process involves a health history consultation, neurological and muscular assessment, and a doctor's report of findings with chiropractic corrective care recommendations spread out over two office visits. This process allows Dr. John to take the time to personally review your scans and design a highly individualized care plan. Our process is incredibly thorough, and every single step is designed to achieve comfort and results!

02

Tour The Office

After your New Practice Member Paperwork is completed, we will take you on an educational tour of our office. We want you to know where everything is located so you feel at home and comfortable with us.

03

One-on-One Consultation

Our team will do a one-on-one consultation to discuss your health concerns and future goals, as well as your past traumas and health history. We will also share information on nerve interference, what it is, and how neurologically-based chiropractic care can facilitate healing in your body.

04

Neurological Assessment

We utilize the most up-to-date and reliable technology in the field to evaluate the location and severity of stress and nerve interference present. Our goal is to discover the root cause of any dysfunction within your body. Learn More

05

Digital X-Rays

To see is to know, and to not see is to guess and we will not guess with your health. If necessary, we will take chiropractic postural x-rays on-site. This will allow us to look at your skeletal system to provide you with the safest and most effective care possible for your unique case. Dr. John will look for pre-existing conditions from accidents and trauma, as well as spinal conditions like spondylarthritis, osteoporosis, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, bone spurs, or bone fusion. Our digital x-rays provide 70-80% less exposure than traditional x-rays, making it safer for you and your entire family.

06

Doctor's Report of Findings

Following your first appointment is the Doctor’s Report of Findings. During this report, Dr. John will share more information on chiropractic, health, and expectations for care. He will then review findings from your assessment and x-rays and discuss your individualized recommendations for care. If you choose to receive the care recommended, adjustments can begin right away, and you can start the journey of true healing! If you make health care or financial decisions with a loved one, please bring them to this appointment.

07

Financial Plans

Our financial plans are always provided upfront during the Doctor’s Report. Your personalized care plan will include a specific set of recommended visits and the total price. We will lay out multiple financial options for you to receive care in our office.

Ignite Chiropractic is in network with most major insurances, such as: Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care. We will provide a complimentary benefits check on your first visit to determine what may and may not be covered. If we are out of network with your insurance, we are happy to provide you with a Super Bill so you can self-submit.

08

Igniting Your Life With True Healing

To achieve the best results as quickly as possible, it is vital to be consistent in keeping your appointments. Everyone responds to care differently; some people begin to feel better and see health improvements immediately, while for others it may take more time. Some may initially experience mild discomfort or stiffness, known as healing sensations, which are completely normal as we restore the structure of your body and your nervous system. Regular visits are designed to fit seamlessly into your busy schedule! Typically, visits will take about 10-15 minutes going forward and they can be easily rescheduled if needed.
